Time for the WATER WORKS!

Good Tuesday Morning!!!
Well, so like the title says… it’s time for the water works- but no drama!! So it’s all about water coloring today, I am using the technique inspiration given to me by Hand Stamped Sentiments, the color pallet from CR84FN and the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I did 2 different water coloring techniques on this card.  I used the water color pencils for the Lilly in the corner.  These are great for this kind of project.  I started coloring the entire flower (sporadic application) with the yellow pencil, then went into the center with the pink & orange- then took my aqua painter and blended them all- making sure not to be uniformed in the application of water.
The larger flower I used the traditional WC technique, wetting the entire piece of water color paper. I applied spots of Daffodil Delight ink over the rose, then added some Melon Mambo. Then lastly once the image had dried a bit I came back and added the Pumpkin Pie ink.  I let the colors run and settle where they went, I didn’t try and shade it a certain way and tried to leave white space- BUT that is hard for me to do :-(

Then I used my good old stand by of circle scallop as a flag/banner. Then I decided to pop up the rose image to give it some height.
