Thinking Of You Chalkboard Technique

I have a great card to share with you all today!  I was thinking of trying a new version of a Chalkboard Technique which was SO easy and fun to create.  The best part is that I created this technique on colored card stock- yes, it is a dark card stock but it works like a charm!
I used the sketch to create this card that is part of the NEW CHALLENGE over at Hand Stamped Sentiments – you should pop over and play along!! Sketches are the funnest things to use for inspiration!
Can you see how the center of the sentiment is done in what I call a Reverse Chalkboard Technique.  I am going to make a video on it for later this week- it is SOOOO fun! I have another version of a chalkboard technique as well that I used in the MADISON AVE. NOTE CARD ONLINE CLASS.  I also teach a different version in the SAMPLER STAMPING CLASS in March.
Check out how I used this same technique on the butterflies as well- it is so cool playing with a technique. It’s not hard but I don’t think I would use it to make 40 cards that’s for sure, LOL!!
I used the colors offered up in this weeks challenge at Dynamic Duos– they are using Island Indigo and Pool Party.  Which happens to be one of my favorite combos!!! I love monochromatic color schemes.
Wouldn’t you love to have a tool that would let you check out my BLOG POSTS, my FACEBOOK UPDATES, YOUTUBE UPLOADS, and all my CLASSES & EVENTS– all in ONE PLACE??
