Stampin’ Up! Petite Curley Label LOVE

I LOVE finding inspiration from all sorts of places and today it came from the inspiration photo from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  I took a different twist to it and made it my own, of course I had to add LOTS and LOTS of GLITTER- check it out!
Petite Curly Label Punch Valentine

I used the Petite Curly Label Punch from the Sale-A-Bration brochure, which by the way is FREE when you place or submit an order of $50 or more between NOW and March 22nd.  You could make this sweet card too.  Check out what I did with the sentiment-

Petite Curly Label Punch Valentine

Creating this was simple, I used the sentiment from the Pennant Parade set and stamped it in white craft ink and covered it with white embossing powder and heat set it.  Then I punched out another small heart and layed it over top letting just a bit of the word over hang on either end- then with my Singo Gel pen I outlined the heart shape skipping over the overhang… simple!

For the Silver Glimmer Petite Curly Labels, I punched a gazillion out and then secured them in a specific fashion to guarantee me a more accurate layout.  Here’s what I did, cause I hardly ever get out a ruler or straight edge- although that would have made this process faster and more persice.

First I secured the far left corner and then secure the ones to the right and below as well, then I finished off the row along the top and then secured the line along the left side of the card going down.  Then I worked my way down from the bottom securing in an orderly fashion doing one row at a time.  Even though mine isn’t TOTALLY straight or proportion it is close enough to be cool with me!  It wasn’t that hard, and I cranked this card out in NO time flat- like 10 min.  You should give it a shot!!  Head on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments to play along with this weeks inspiration photo!!

  1. Love this idea! It is a cute and simple card with a lot of WOW.

  2. Wow, you went all out with the glitter! I love the repetition, and your cute sentiment in the center is perfect!

  3. I had to check out where that stamp was from…only to be amazed at your genius! So creative., and I also rarely get out a ruler. If it’s perfect it’s not homemade is my motto.

I love the silver Glimmer Paper, so this must be fabulously sparkly in real life! I didn’t recognize the sentiment stamp; had to check out the Pennant Parade set to see which one you used. Outlining the word with your gel pen and heart punch…such a clever and cute idea!! –Doris
