Romantic Color Theme Challenge HSS53

Good Morning Stampers!!! I am so excited to share with you the project that I have planned for this weeks HSS challenge. You should hop on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments and play along, we love to see every ones creativity!

So what did I create, well I did a little gift set that I thought was oh so romantic. :) Take a peek see and let me know what you think…
For me romantic and sexy are kind of lumped together and so this is what I came up with, the red is a little more sexy than maybe romantic but wither way I love the set!
These adorable tins are found at your local craft store in the wedding section. I took some craft ink (white) and stamped an adorable heart in the center. Let it stand for a few minuets and its dry and ready for the glitter. Apply some crystal effects and apply the glitter of your choice.
Check out how the glitter is raised off the stamped image.

I LOVE how this sparkles, SO cute!!!

For the card that coordinates with the treat tin I decided to make a shaker card. These are little bit of work but SO cute and TOTALLY worth the effort. I decided to use black card stock for my card base, then layered a piece of silver card stock and then finally Real Red card stock stamped with black polka-dot background stamp. I made a frame from black card stock and made it large enough for my wedding cake image. I added a thick layer of crystal effects on the cake layers and then coated that with dazzling diamonds- sparkle city!! I found this LOVE confetti at the craft store where I got my treat tins, they coordinate with the tin.

To create this technique you layer your dimensionals (I did 2 layers) and place them around your frame. Apply a piece of acetate to your frame to create a barrier for the confetti. Then adhere your stamp image to the card and then apply your frame piece to the card with the confetti inside. When it is all put together you can shake the confetti and you have a FUN but beautiful card that no one will believe that you handmade.

I crated this ring by taking a piece of my silver card stock and punching a 3/4″ circle shape, then take your 1″ circle punch and punch around the smaller punched shape. You are left with this ring. I placed the shape on my card and then attached the rhinestone brad just on top of the outer edge of the ring to give the look of a wedding ring.

I think this card says all things ROMANTIC! How fun to have this bold bright loving colors. I made this card for my Sister In Law and my brother for their wedding. Their wedding colors are red and white, a very sexy but romantic color pick- I think. :) I hope you enjoyed this weeks project for Hand Stamped Sentiments Romantic Theme. Hop on over and submit your project for this weeks challenge- we would LOVE to see what romantic means to you!
