Regarding Dahlias Thank You Card

It’s TUESDAY and you know what that means… IT’S A CHALLENGE DAY!!
This week it’s a color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments and we are getting prepared for Fall with the color inspiration for this challenge.  It’s hard here in TX to get excited for Fall… simply because we never really have Fall, it goes straight from sweltering summer to about 2 weeks of Winter… then we have Spring for a bit and the rest is SUMMER!!!
I digress… back on track, so with the idea of Fall in mind this is what I created-
I had to crack open my newest set, REGARDING DAHLIAS! The colors we are working with this week are Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, and Early Espresso.  I went with the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch!
I love this set! I decided to layer the sentiments for a specific person I had in mind for this card.  I used the ARTISAN PUNCH for the sentiment and sliced up a couple Crushed Curry shapes to create a mat for the sentiment. Oh and it wouldn’t be MY card without the colored RHINESTONES, right?!

MAN I LOVE THIS SET!! I decided to stamp this image on some Crushed Curry card stock and heat set it with WHITE EMBOSSING POWDER and shaded in some petals with the Crushed Curry marker. Can you see the DAZZLING DETAILS scattered over the flower??
I have to say that in real life this card TOTALLY SPARKLES!! But I love how simple and sparkly this card is, and it’s more about the message of this card.
Pop on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments to play along with this weekend challenge!
