POST Halloween and a WINNER!

HELLO friends,
I hate missing posts like I have this last week, but it did allow me the chance to get caught up (mostly) and get some much needed tweaking done to my blog. I am sure you have noticed some of the new changes, but more on that later. First, lets visit the FUN we had over the weekend for Halloween! Here is my daughter at our neighborhood Halloween Party. She was a Genie, and SO adorable at that! She had so much fun putting on makeup, you can’t see it very well in the picture but she has a TON on and I told my friends that this would be the only time I allow her to wear that much. I mean I am an adult and I never wear close to that much, but come on- it’s a costume and Halloween.

Here is a picture of both my kids together outside. We had a neighborhood party, stayed for a little bit- ran to our church party stayed for a while then ran home and trick or treated with my neighbors. What a whirlwind of a weekend! My son (who is infatuated by Bats) was a vampire this year and has already tagged his costume for next year. You guessed it, a Bat!

Here are my two gems inside trying to take decent pictures before the mayhem starts and makeup gets rubbed off and costume parts come undone, brake and go missing. My sons costume came apart I think within the first 20 min. which is why I was so relieved to get good pics before we set foot outside.
Now- onto CRAFTY things. You may have noticed some new additions to my blog lately, and one in particular is the ability to purchase Crafty Kit’s and Crafty Kit Bits. If you have seen ideas on here that you would love to make for yourself but don’t own all the supplies to do it or don’t know where to start, then this is for you! I am offering these projects in two different formats.
Crafty Kits are complete kits with ALL the supplies (excluding adhesive) to complete a particular project. The Kit will include all paper supplies, pre-stamped images, die-cut or punched items, embellishments, ribbons, step-by-step instructions, etc. You will be able to complete the entire project with everything in this Kit. Currently I am offering the Holiday Gift Tags as a Crafty Kit. You can also opt to JUST purchase the instructions for this project if you have all the punches and stamps needed to complete it.
Crafty Kit Bits are kits that include ALMOST everything you would need to complete the project featured. For example currently I am offering the Christmas Countdown Advent Calendar as a Craft Kit Bit, it includes everything needed to complete EXCEPT the mini muffin tin. You would simply supply your own tin and then you would have a completed project. With the Crafty Kit Bits I will always include any tips or websites for the missing item that would assist you in finding that item for as cheap as I can. I have created these Kit Bits as a way to offer you creative projects in an economical way that won’t increase the shipping costs and therefore force the cost of the Kit to be higher, and of course you can always JUST purchase the (.pdf) instructions as well.

I hope you check them out on the right sidebar of this blog. I will be adding new ones frequently so be sure to check them out often. If you ever find that the link to purchase is not functioning PLEASE email me. I had a bit of an issue with it over the weekend and hope that I have fixed it, but PLEASE let me know if you come across any trouble.
