Papillion Potpurri Layout

It’s a LAYOUT kind-a day!! I finally completed a scrap layout… it has been TOO long since I have done a scrap layout, and I really love this one!  I am going to tweak this layout a bit (to make it slightly easier and quicker) to make for the Stamp Camp this weekend!
I used this BEAUTIFUL butterfly stamp set, and the coordinating butterfly punch– SOOOO CUTE!!  I am showcasing the PAPER PLEATING technique on this layout- I love it, it totally reminds me of a private school uniform skirt.  Take a look at the detail in the butterflies- seriously SO pretty.  I used the ELEGANT BUTTERFLY punch to create the whimsical embellishments for the page. I used the BAKERS TWINE to create the antenna for the butterflies. I thought that this page would be great for pics of my kids learning to ride a bike, or do something independent for the first time.
I hope that you will pop on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments to play along with the challenge of Paper Pleating this week.  Want to see what I used to create this project?

Stick around- I will create a version of this layout for the Stamp Camp this weekend and will share it with you tomorrow, so be sure to come back by tomorrow to take a look! :-)
