Onesie, Twosie, Threesies- Galore!!

Good Morning Stampers!! Today I am thrilled to share with you a project that I made several months ago.  I made a baby gift for one of my club members.  I was so excited that she was having a girl, one- because it is kind of fun having a real life doll you can dress and two- buying girl clothes is just simply more fun!!  BUT the draw back to those things is that eventually those girls learn to talk and get an attitude one them, and then it is all downhill until they are old enough for those traits to be an asset. :)  I kid- but I will just say that my daughter has my genes for sure…
Ok, on to the projects… here is a group photo of all the ones-ies I made for her.  I thought they came out cute.  I actually messed up my sewing machine while making these but no worries- figured out how I screwed it up.

This one has a sewn on skirt.  I simply took some fabric and used the scallop square die for my Big Shot.  I made several and then cut them in half so they made a triangle shape, then sewed them onto the onesie.

Here is a close up for ya-

On this one I made some rosettes with the 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon.  Then I attached the centers which are the Sweet Pea felt embellishments that were available over the summer.  These were sewn on by hand.  I also added some felt leaves behind the rosettes, thought that was cute too-

of course, a close up. :)

Here are some other felt embellishments that came in the kit, I laid them out and positioned them and then hand sewed them on.  These Sweet Pea felt embellishments made such a sweet gift.

And of course a close up…

I hope you enjoyed today’s sewing projects, I don’t sew well AT ALL but once and I while I can do simple things and thought I would share that with you today.  Thanks so much for stopping by and check in later this week for a sneak peek for my club projects coming this weekend.  Until next time~ TTFN
