MDS Monday Mixed Bunches

Good Monday Monring Stampers!  I have a card that I created with the NEW MDS2 for you today.  My most favorite thing about this NEW version of MDS is the NEW FEATURES one of which is a coloring tool that allows you to add multiple colors to one stamp image, like you can in real life!
I first have to apologize for the quality (or lack thereof) of the photos of the printed version of this weeks card.  It does look SO much better in real life but I took this at night and the lighting was all wonky… I have GOT to take a photography class!
I did go in and ADD actual rhinestones to the areas that had them on the MDS2 version.  That way I had some real texture and height to the physical card and although I couldn’t add the exact image over the flower, cause I enlarged 3 Modern Label punch shapes to create the backing to my flower and I couldn’t recreate that in real life. :-)  I really liked how it turned out!
Although I had’t planned it, this card looks more patriotic than I had anticipated.  I used the inspiration from the following challenges: The Sketch was courtesy of Try Stampin’ Till Tue. The theme challenge was to put colors on kraft or in my case (Crumb Cake), and then finally the color challenge from Paper Players.
So to finish today I wanted to leave you with a cool tutorial for the NEW MDS2– check out how awesome this tool is- you HAVE to try it out!! You can test it for FREE for 30 DAYS!! CLICK HERE to download it NOW for FREE!!
In this tutorial you will see how the NEW MDS2 helps suggest color combos- note that there is NO caption for this video. The Stampin’ Up! Team created this video and NOT me, so sorry :-(
