When life gives you lemons…you make lemon heads!
If you have followed my blog recently you may know that I have been delayed in posting my upcoming SAMPLER class samples for October due to the fact that I have been waiting on some of my supplies from Stampin’ Up! Well, toady I got an email letting me know that my package that was “supposed” to arrive this last Monday was being rescheduled for delivery on FIRDAY… Whaaaaa?! Seems that those who handle the packages in Mesquite, TX decided to play a bit of football with my box?? I guess it smashed open and things were possibly missing… UGH!! So Stampin’ Up! (being the awesome-est company around) repackaged all my goodies and is sending me a new package. I am thankful for that, BUT that left me in a bit of a lerch for my class samples… OK, so not much can hold me back- I rigged a few of my supplies and created a makeshift item that I needed. This will all make more sense once you see the samples, so enough rambling and let’s get to it!
OCTOBER SAMPLER STAMPING CLASS
First we are starting with the card makers sample projects. If you select the card makers option you create 3 standard cards and an adorable 3-D project, this month it’s a fun treat container (full pics in a bit)
This is the scrapbookers version of this class. With this option you take the items that you used in the projects above and create this adorable scrap page (using the NEW divided page protectors* from Stampin’ Up!) as well as one standard card and that spooktacular treat container.
Here is the single card and treat container that EVERYONE will create no matter which class option you select
If you register for the CARD MAKERS option for this class you will get to create these 2 cards in addition witches boot card and the treat container.
If you select to do the SCRAPBOOKERS option then you will take the supplies for the two cards above and use them to create this adorable perfectly proportioned page!
You can see that I took many of not most of the elements from the cards above to create this adorable page. I had been waiting for the actual divided page protectors from Stampin’ Up! in my shipment, and that plan fell through so I re-created my own make shift divided page with a larger 12×12 protector. I cut it down where I needed and slid my little parts and pieces in their appropriate spots- I think it turned out ADORABLE!!! The page protectors are not provided as part of this class but can be purchased at or before the class via email or through my STAMPIN’ UP! ONLINE STORE.
REMEMBER THAT THIS CLASS HAS SEVERAL DATES TO SELECT FROM
