HSS Wedding Theme Challenge #71

Good Mornimg Stampers!!! This week for our Hand Stamped Sentiments Theme Challenge – it;s all about Weddings.  I was excited to make my wedding invitation- I had seen this idea on another blog and LOVED it SO much that I had to recreate my version for this weeks challenge.
I made a tri-fold card for this challenge and I dolled it up with some embossing folders… I mean it is for a wedding right?  I used Fifth Ave. Floral and the coordinating embossing folder.  I used crumb cake card stock and ink along with Pretty in Pink ink and taffeta ribbon.

I love the deep impression that these folders leave in the card stock.  I think it is subtle and classy all at the same time.  I think that is great elegant look for a wedding invitation.

I trimmed around the edges of the of the embossed area to give a little peep of the invite to show through at the top.

When the invite opens you see that area that would house your details for the special day.  If this was an invite that I would be sending out I would pre-print the information in the card stock.  I added some coordinating floral images at the top of the center.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks project and I can’t wait to see what you create and share!  I can’t wait to share YET ANOTHER office redo with you guys… yes I am at it again.  I needed a bigger space and honestly my best friend just moved out of state so I need a serious distraction.  So what better thing to distract me than a new office rehab.  I am moving into my daughters room, and relocating her to a smaller more manageable room.  She is totally on board, after some bribing. :) Well until next time~ TTFN
