HSS Stars & Strips THeme Challenge #72

Good Morning Stampers!!  I had such a blast making this weeks project, its all about STARS & STRIPES!!!!  With the 4th of July right around the corner, this challenge is just in time.  I love to keep is bold and simple, I think those are the best kind especially for mass production.  I hope you take a moment to see the other inspirational creations shown over at Hand Stamped Sentiments- take a peek see!
I decided that this card would be perfect for my annual 4th of July BBQ that I host for friends and neighbors that are in town.  My family and I have such a great time sharing the evening with our friends and then wrapping it all up by watching the fire works from our back deck- my house faces the direct of Six Flags so we get to mooch off their amazing blast show.

I used this fun contraband star punch as my starting point.  Then using dimensional I popped that first payer onto a whisper white piece.  I tied a red grosgrain around the entire piece to tie in the red card base.

Then I took my Crop-A-Dile and added the circles through both layers of card stock- I loved this effect because at quick glance you don’t understand that the layering is so simple, but then you look a little closer and realize that it is so simple.  Then I l
