HSS An Old Fashion Christmas Challenge #97

Good Morning Stampers!! I am loving this weeks Challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments, it’s all about the OLD FASHION CHRISTMAS!  So what do you think of when you imagine an old fashion Christmas?  I think of vintage ornaments, snow, candles, dim lights, paneling, big FAT fur trees (not these cool pre-lit fake ones we all have), the smell of baking goods (preferably something with cinnamon), wood fire burning… oh the thoughts of Christmas… these are all visions I think of from movies I’ve seen and some that I remember from my childhood.
So what did I create with all of these things in mind? I am in a MODE of making candles.  I had a class on Friday where we were all making Holiday candles and I thought these were perfect for my neighbors.  I made some adorable mini pumpkin bread loaves to accompany these SWEET candles.

Check out the Hand Stamped Sentiments site for more inspiration and to PLAY along creating your own project- we can’t wait to see your inspiration!!
I know it is hard to tell, but in true Erin fashion, I had to add glitter to the candle.  I stamped out my design on the tissue paper first, melted it to the candle, let the candle dry and harden, then took my dazzling details and my rhinestones and WENT TO TOWN!!!
I like how the glitter made the Daffodile ornament look more like gold, shiny things are AWESOME!!!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you join in on the fun, in between your trips to the mall, wrapping presents, baking, delivering presents, and holiday life. :-)  Until nest time~
