HSS Color Splash Challenge #40

Good Morning Stampers!!!
I am having a blast with My Digital Studio that I thought I would use it AGAIN to create my project for this weeks color challenge. I absolutely LOVE the NEW LOWER printing rates as well for MDS. I am going to be printing MORE cards than ever through Stampin’ Up! These new rates are seriously competitive with other places and with Stampin’ Up! you KNOW that the colors will come out the shade they are meant to be. OK, enough babbling for me :)
This week is a simple but fun project, I created an all occasion card for this weeks challenge using the colors supplied to us from Hand Stamped SentimentsCajun Craze, Pear Pizzaz, and More Mustard. I think these are true FALL colors that make me think of naked trees and dead leaves on the ground that crunch under your step. Although here in San Antonio there isn’t a REAL fall- I still have completely green trees and grass. It is a beautiful dry 72 degrees out today and I am still wearing shorts and flip-flops on most days. But it reminds me of growing up in Arlington where there are more Fall like reminders outside.

As you can see i used simple, basic shapes and images and played with the opacity of the 3 colors we were give for the challenge to give variations in the color palette. You can create the same effect with your ink pads too. Simply stamp off once or twice and you have a lighter hue of your original color. I hope you have enjoyed today’s project and don’t forget to check out MY ON-LINE STORE for the most UP TO DATE MDS downloads that are available. You will LOVE them!!! Thanks for stopping by and until next time~ TTFN

We Love to Hear From You
