HSS Button It Up! Theme Challenge #74

Good Morning Stampers!!!  I am super thrilled to share with you my project for this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Theme Challenge… its all about the buttons!
So for my latest Technique Class I decided to do paper buttons, and that also helped me prepare my project for this weeks challenge… yeah I know I am pretty efficient- right?! So I embellished the card pieces with some texture plates and ribbon and I kept it pretty monochromatic in color…
I chose several different styles of buttons a heart shape, a traditional round button, a ribbed round button, and a star flower button.  Want to make these for yourself???  Super easy!!!

Simple punch out 4-5 pieces of the desired shape you want of any color card stock you would like to use.  Glue them to one another being sure to match up the edges.  Then using a sanding block round out your edges and make sure the uneven edges are all smoothed out.  Use your crop-a-dile and create your button holes in the center, then place your buttons on wax paper and coat the top and edges with Crystal Effects and give time to dry.

Once the buttons are dry I threaded them with all different kinds of ribbons and fibers, then mounted them on some embossed squares and layered the card with a larger ribbon piece.  Simple, easy, and fun card.  Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my project for this week, I hope to see you back here again later this week and until then~ TTFN
