HSS Anythihng BUT a Card Challenge 9

Morning Stampers, ready for a 3-D project? Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we are doing an Anything But a Card Challenge, come play along as well! Of course these are my favorite kinds of projects… so lets take a look-

I made a card organizer using my Forget-Me-Not box… These are super fun and easy to make and can be customized to match the decor in your crafting space as well. I made another one with the Baroque pattern also. The great thing about this box is that it is sturdy and solid and snaps together in a second, which makes it easy for decorating!

I created a little display label and embellished it with the small heart from the Triple Heart Punch. I also decorated the sides of the box using Designer Series Paper. I will be offering this project in an upcoming class and will share more details then.

I thread some 5/8″ Celery Grosgrain & 1/4″ Pumpkin Grosgrain Ribbon through the front and knotted it for a fun burst of color.

I can’t say it enough but I LOVE textured card stock, can you see the heart and the bit of texture the embellishment adds by having the bumps and valleys… LOVE IT!!!

Here is what the inside looks like, it literally took me 5 minuets to put the box together. The next one I am creating has an adorable card stock embellishment around the front instead of ribbon.

The exterior sides are this beautiful patterned only orange Designer Series Paper. It coordinates so well with the front flaps having that fun floral pattern.

These are the calendar inserts I made for the card organizer. There are 12 hard plastic dividers for the box and I attached these calendars to them using large glue dots. My cousin Shannon also created these calendars for her box as well, she has a much more steady hand than I…

I can write the individuals names on the date of their event and pull out the calendar and have the cards needed for each event behind the divider, so I am ALWAYS prepared! I have enough birthday, anniversary, holiday, and graduation cards at my finger tips.
