Fabric Rosette Gretings of the Season

New project for Stampin’ Celebration today! There was an inspiration photo to get the creative juices flowing and I created a perfect project to celebrate the Greetings of the Season!

One of the inspirations for the month was this cool wreath that had these adorable fabric rosettes and I wanted to give them a try… SO of course I went to Pinterest to figure out how to create them- they are SO easy!!  I simply made a 3/4″ circle through my punched shapes to fit my fabric flower into and attached it to the card front.

  • simply take a strip of fabric (mine was 2″ x 8″) and I placed a long strip of sticky strip along one end (the 8″ side)
  • Fold your fabric over, to create a tube- make sure that you fold over and attach with the pattern side of the fabric facing out.
  • Cut small slits all along the non-adhesive end of your strip of fabric (do this ALL down the fabric strip)
  • then place another long strip of sticky strip along the bottom that is adhered together and roll the flower up like a jelly roll, and your snips create this flowered top…
It’s as easy as that!  I hope you give it a try for yourself!  Here is what I used to create this fun card great to be paired with a thoughtful holiday gift (it is WAY to thick to mail!!)
