I have had several requests to share how I made these adorable little gifts.  It is SUPER easy especially if you have a 10 and an 11 yr old helper to punch the pieces *smirk* I actually had my kids punch ALL the pieces while I assembled, but and scored… they shaded and punched ALL of them… for 30 of these things!!!
So to make the bunnies you need the following punches: Large oval (ears), *Med. Oval (ears), ornament (face), small oval (mouth), heart to heart (nose), 1/2″ circle (paws), scallop circle (for the carrot) 1-3/8″ circle (for the body) {*notes a retired punch, BUT you can create the same effect using the blossom builder punch pieces}
To make the candy container: You need a 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of card stock, scored at 3-1/4″ 7-1/4″.  Along the shortest flap I punched a decorative edge- it can be anything to your liking.  I then used the EX LG Oval punch to create the opening for the egg look.  I placed jelly beans in a small cello bag and stapled it shut and placed it inside the pouch to color the egg. I folded the entire thing and placed a piece of Certainly Celery ribbon and stapled the entire thing closed THEN tied my ribbon in a knot.
I created a sentiment and added some coordinating buttons and BAM- an Easter Egg Laying Bunny Treat!!! Who could ask for more on this wonderfully candy filled CHRISTIAN holiday… why in the world do we need to incorporate SO much candy into every holiday…. dieting SUCKS!! :)
I hope you enjoyed today’s little share- no new project today as I am heading out to egg hunt with the kids then OFF to church!!! Have a GREAT EASTER and I will see you tomorrow!!!
If you would like to make these projects for yourself (you can place any kind of punch art on the front for any holiday!!) get your supplies NOW!!

We Love to Hear From You
