Day of Gratitude

It’s a simple DAY OF GRATITUDE today!  After the last few days of craziness and chaos I am taking a moment today to just be grateful.  There are so many things to be thankful for- and in that spirit I created today’s card.
big shot, DSP, bird punch, scallop circle punch, embossing folder, thanksgiving, gratitude
My goal was to create a card in less than 10 min, and make something simple.  I literally sat at my computer looked up 2 quick challenges and went to work, and cranked it out right before diner! I utilized a few punches and my Big Shot and a splash of DSP (designer series paper) and that was it!

I knew that I wanted to make a card that expressed my feelings this week.  I had the opportunity to make cards with the sweet kids at Methodist Children’s Hospital on Wed., and each time I go I walk away filled with gratitude!  I am blessed that my kids and husband are safe & healthy! So when I found these challenges I knew they would be perfect!
I used the simple challenges from CAS-ual Fridays and Paper Pal Arts and here is what I used to create this card:

  1. Thank you for this card. It makes you stop and think about how grateful I am for so many things in my life. Leo and I raised to normal, healthy kids and they are a blessing to us.
I am so grateful for my computer and all my internet friends. I feel a bond to so many I have never met. They have become an important part of my life since
I can no longer come and go as freely as I once did.
I am grateful I still have my husband even though I am somewhat tied down with his needs.
