I had such a GREAT time with my stamping friends at my Annual Christmas Party this last weekend, I had to take Sunday to rest… and clean, LOL!! No fantastic party or event goes off without a single snafu and my events are no different, but they are still FAB all the same. I have to admit that the Christmas Party started off on shaky ground… more on that in a moment. I had lots of fun things for my attendees this year, and since I was a one woman host I didn’t take as many pics as I had hoped. I had asked my daughter to be my photog and at the last min she ditched me for a Birthday party… Santa will remember that.
Let me share with you some pics of the setup before the guests began to arrive… I always have upcoming class samples out to view so guests can see whats coming up on my creative class calendar.
But I had a special surprise to announce-
I had a swap section for those that were participating in the card swap, this was awesome… I will be sharing those later this week. They were awesome. This is the before pic…
The station once guests began to arrive… SO creative!
I also set up a station for each attendee to bring a handmade card to send to ADDIE for Christmas, if you didn’t read her story you can see it on my Facebook page. I also had a FUN BINGO game ready for guests… there were lots of winners.
They got to select something from under the tree (there were NO losers, LOL!)
Guests could also take part in a COOKIE SWAP… this was awesome! There were SO many yummy & festive cookies and everyone went home with LOTS of sugar, LOL! (I remember there being more than this, I think I took this pic before everyone had arrived??)
Then there was a little hiccup… everything up to this point had gone off without a hitch… let me start by saying I had planned to serve Lasagne, a yummy Kale salad, and festive bevies… however about an hour prior to my party I was getting ready to put the Lasagne in the over to bake and realized that I read the instructions wrong… it takes almost 2 HOURS to cook it, NOT 45 min… UGH!
FREAK OUT MODE!!
So it was HUBS to the rescue. He quickly went to our local BBQ place and we ended up having a very traditional TX Holiday Party… Fried Chicken, BBQ Turkey, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, White Bread and yummy Kale Salad… 😉
We started out digging into the yummy eats, it was din-din time and we all were starving so the first to arrive were the first to dig in! This was tasty too, plus eating in waves made finding a seat easier.
Then it was time to play a little BINGO, of which I got NO pics of… But it was FUN and we had 4 winners, I think… there might have been a few more. I can’t recall. LOL!! Once we finished prizes and games we headed into get crafty, cause what’s a stamping party without a little stamping?? A suck-y one, bwahahahaha!!
We made an adorable project, which I will share a little later this week. I didn’t think to take a pic of them that night 😐 Working solo at this event was a little overwhelming The one part that I haven’t share with you yet are the Christmas Gifts that each HOSTESS CLUB and HSS TEAM MEMBER received from me. I will share those later this week as well. They were super adorable and the ladies LOVED them, plus I had a blast creating them for each of these amazing ladies. I couldn’t send these gifts to my long distance HOSTESS CLUB or HSS TEAM MEMBERS but I have sent them each a special kit to create which includes a tutorial and supplies. SO FUN!!
If you want to take advantage of all the perks and benefits of being a HOSTESS CLUB or TEAM MEMBER joining is easy and the perks are more than worth all the benefits of joining.
