Baby’s First 12 Months Project

I am super excited, this ENTIRE month I have been selected as a GUEST DESIGNER over at the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge Blog.  The theme for this week is “A DAY TO REMEMBER“.  I had been making and working on this project for a while for my Sister-In-Law who just had their 2nd Baby.  I had seen this project (part of it) done on Pinterest and thought I would add to it and pull my paper crafting skills into the overall project.  Check out what I made-
First I made this framed piece
baby gift
I created coordinating spots for the monthly pictures of the baby, these spots match the colors on the onesies that I made for the baby to be photographed in.  I hand wrote the monthly tags to go under each photo spot in the coordinating ink as the card stock.  I used my Apothecary Accents Framelits to create the little photo mats for the piece. I also embossed some pieces of card stock for the background to give it some texture and movement.

Here are the onesies that I made, and this idea AND the downloadable file is ALL from MY PINTEREST.  You can head to my BABY, OH BABY board and get all the details and the link to the download there. I have to admit that I really hate iron-on projects after doing this one… iron-ons never work like you think they will.  SO- each of the colored numbers coordinates with the SAME color on the frame so the pic taken with the baby in this will match and they will look SO CUTE together!

Here is what I used for the frame project:
