Argyle Addiction?

Happy HUMP Day!!  Ok, so I have to admit that I am a bit addicted to this whole Argyle pattern lately.  I wanted to see if I could recreate the paper layout that I started or attempted with the MDS version that I shared earlier this week.  I decided to use the pattern or color scheme on my sons sweater as my inspiration~
I cut squares that were 2-1/2″ and created the lines by scoring them using my Simply Score and then when I adhered them to the Very Vanilla card stock I off set or rotated the patterns so that they didn’t line up perfectly. I used Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede card stock for the squares. I made the rick-rack layers using that shape created using the Tastefully Trim die. I created a title flag and finished it off with a button from the Regals Collection and the best part is the stitching!
I would have sewn it with my sewing machine, BUT it seems to be as finicky as a woman and wouldn’t work that day.  So I took out all my thread and JUST used it to create the holes since the page was large and piercing it by hand would have taken me FOREVER! So once I created the holes I took my Basic Grey Stamping Write Marker and created the thread.
I think I am going to frame this page and hang it in our living room cause it turned out really pretty.
