Amazing Mother for Mother’s Day!

Today I have a great card to share that i made just in time for my MOM!!  I have to admit that I didn’t even realize that it was mothers Day this weekend, until yesterday… I swear I always thought that it was near my moms B-day (around the 20th) and clearly I am mistaken… I also thought my mom was 36 years old every year, till I was about 20 something… when she brought it to my attention- Ooopppss!
I thought I would put my AMAZING FAMILY set to good use, which is PERFECT for this card!
It’s Tuesday and you know what that means… time for a NEW challenge at HSS!  This week the challenge is all about color, and this is a very challenging color combo- which is always great!  Get creative with Real Red, Summer Starfruit, Bashful Blue, and Basic Black.  I also used the sketch from Mojo Monday and the theme from Paper Players! I have covered all my bases.
I went with one of the shapes from the Apothecary Framelits for my sentiment piece… then I layered a few scallop square shapes and then some Boho Blossom flower shapes flanking the bulb ends… I showered the piece with Rhinestones AND Pearls, cause what would make it better?  HAVING BOTH TYPES OF BLING of course!!

I used my Hello, Doily stamp to create the patterned paper piece and a scrap of my Madison Ave DSP from Sale-A-Bration.  Then I used the word THANKS from the Oh, Hello set (I was so lazy that I left the stamp IN the set case and colored it with my Real Red Marker and put my paper on top and BAM I was done! No block needed, LOL!!)
You should POP on over to play along with us at HSS, it is a great way to test those cretive muscles!!
Have you checked out my Classes and Tutorials lately? I have new ones being added ALL the time, take a moment and check them out!
