April Savvy Stamping Class

FINALLY FRIDAY!!!!

Mornin' Stampers!! I have my final class sampled to share with you all today, it is my April SAVVY STAMPING CLASS.  This class series usually in-tales more in depth type project or larger projects that take more time than simple card classes.  This month the projects aren't hard, but there are a gazillion of them.  You will NEVER run out of birthday cards after this class!  You will make 30 Birthday cards from just half of a Simply Scrappin' Kit! Note that PRE-PAYMENT is required for this class, as product needs to be ordered for this project.

This class is on April 28th from 1-4 PM, held at my home.  The cost of the class is $35, which covers your supplies so basically you are learning how to make these projects for FREE!!!  Registration deadline for this class is April 20th.

GOOD MORNING STAMPERS!!

I am SO thrilled to share today's project with you, I FINALLY had the chance to play with MDS again!!! I have been so consumed with all my paper crafts that I have sadly neglected my Digi skills, but today I have busted them out for all you MDS lovers!!  So with the inspiration from Hand Stamped Sentiments this week, all Easter... I thought I would embellish some Easter Pages- and I LOVE how I changed up the title (I thought it was pretty funny... LOL!)

Here is a close up of the pages separately... and YES that is a Digital version of my PUNCH ART EASTER BUNNY... I am honestly surprised that I could re-create it as closely as I did... I was really challenged with the eyes but I think they turned out pretty well.

I even added some eggs in although I have to say that to texture-ize them with an embossing folder makes the eggs- BUT if I was to go back and change something I should have put DSP pattern paper on those eggs to give the illusion of embossing... always something, right?!

Why I LOVE Stampin' Up!

Good Sunday Morning!!

As I get ready for church today and after the last 2 weeks of craziness I am thinking of how awesome my job is!!  I have been running around like a crazed person the last few weeks getting ready for a TON of different events and I have been trying to get together with these amazing ladies and finally last night after my stamp camp we could all make it work.  So who are these STARS? These are my stamper-nurse-friends!  From left to right:

These ladies blessed me with the opportunity to help out with the Little Hereos Prom Fundraiser Stamp Camp earlier this year, which was an amazing opportunity!!  It made me recognize why I LOVE doing what I do, in fact this entire month has helped me to do just that!  I shared my story of finding Stampin' Up! at a recent workshop- I never thought too much about it until I actually shared it out loud.  I suffered from horrible postpartum depression after my second child was born (my 2 kids are only 12 months apart) and when I finally was introduced to Stampin' Up! I finally came to terms that what I needed was my creative outlet to help me get back to normal (along with modern medicine!!). I feel so blessed that I get to be creatie everyday, share this opportunity with others, help others find their own creativity, make new friends, give others a creative outlet... I could go on and on!!!

I LOVE my life, my kids, my career, my opportunities to share and serve and most of all-

MY STAMPING FRIENDS!!

THANK YOU LADIES, and THANK YOU to ALL of my stamping friends who make my job everyday SO enjoyable and worthwhile!!  I had SO much fun with you ALL at Stamp Camp and my Workshops/Clubs this month- YOU ALL are the BEST!!!!

Multiplying LIKE Rabbits!!

It's ALMOST Friday!!

Have a great Thursday Stampers! I am sharing with you a project I have made for a client- she orders little gifts for all her co-workers for every holiday.  The other day as we were leaving Cardio Groove she asked me to make 30 Easter gifts... so then I had to get to thinking, I hate to make similar projects over and over for a client.  SO this came to me as I was surfing PINTREST- or should I say I came to a similar idea there :-)  So I made these ADORABLE bunnies and a jelly bean egg using the colors inspired by the gals at CR84FN.  

I used my XL oval punch to make the opening for the beans to show through and then I put together my sweet bunny.  I used some retired punches (cause I can't bare to part with my small oval...) but you can recreate her ears using the Blossoms Petal Builder Punch (which I don't have).  I used the 1/2" circle, scallop circle, heart-to-heart, 1-3/8" circle, ornament, large oval, and extra large oval punch for the bunny.

I drew the eyes, paws, and mouth using the black stampin' write marker.

Cel-e-brate Good Times, Come' On!!

Happy Wednesday Stampers!!

Today I want to share with you the card that I will be making with the kids at Methodist Children's Hospital today, they are making this CELEBRATE card.  I am kind of coo-coo-for coco puffs right now for the whole RAINBOW theme.  I thought it would be something kids of ANY age would enjoy making.  I really enjoy going to the hospital to give the kids something to do while they are waiting to receive their cancer treatments, and for some kids it is the only activity they get to do while they are patients.  I met the most adorable 8 yr old boy last time, he was such a sweet heart!! I would say that I hope I get to see him again today, but honestly I hope I don't- because that means he was healthy enough to return home. 

So I made this a really simple and easy card to make, but I LOVE it SOOOO much!!
