Thinking of You Wreath Card

THINKING OF YOU in the Fall!! I am SOOO excited that it is cooling off here- and to celebrate I made a card using mostly punches!!  I wanted to try and create a wreath... I made this one from LINEN THREAD and some leaves punched from the BIRD PUNCH!!

 I am SO pleased at how this wreath turned out, it was super easy to create.  

• I placed 2 glue dots on the card front roughly the diameter that I wanted the wreath (the glue dots were opposit each other in the circle form)
• as I wrapped the LINEN THREAD on a circle I impressed it into the glue dots on both sides, over and over
• I punched out the branch/leaf shape from the BIRD PUNCH several times in CHERRY COBBLER, MORE MUSTARD, OLD OLIVE, SO SAFFRON, PUMPKIN PIE.
• Using Tombo multipurpose glue I attached the leaf/branch shapes to the wreath.

Of course I had to come back and layer in a TON of TINTED DAZZLING DETAILS!! I used a few challenges to help inspire me, like always.  I took the color scheme from Color Throw-down, the inspiration from Stampin' Celebration, and the sketch from Techno Stamper.
