Betsy's Blossom Baby Inspiration

EXCITING NEWS!! I just found out that my friend and cardio groove instructor (many of you have met her Jocelyn) is pregnant and having ANOTHER baby.  I played with a few challenges today and decided to create this card for her, well maybe. :-)

 I don't know if she is having a boy or a girl yet, so this card might be too feminine? When it comes to challenge cards I tend to go over the top, you know do things that I wouldn't normally do if I was making multiples of the same card.  I did something kind of time intensive with the back layer of Whisper White card stock...

I used the following challenges to aid in my creativity

  

I got the sketch from Sweet Shop, and the color inspiration from Dynamic Duos.  I don't need to waste time trying to figure out what to make the act of creating it is enough time already :-)

I used the blossom from Betsy's Blossom set- LOVE that floral image.

Ok, so the trick with the embossing folder and the cardstock, it really wasn't hard but took some time.  

• I ran my cardstock through my big shot with the Fancy Fan Embssing Folder
• Then GENTLY swiped my ink pad over the raised pattern of the cardstock
• then I filled in various recessed spots with, of course TINTED DAZZLING DETAILS

Seriously SO fun and not impossible to create but if you want a project that helps you relax and be creative then this project would be for you.  It just takes some time, thats all...

Accessories: Pink Pirouette Taffeta ribbon, Dazzling Details, Signo-gel pen
