I LOVED this movie as a teen, not too long ago (at least that is what I tell myself often!) And I knew that I had to combine that challenge with a few others I found to go along with today's QUILTING challenge at HandStampedSentiments!! Check out what I created~
So here's what I used as inspiration for this card. I used the QUILTING theme from Hand Stamped Sentiments, and the sketch from MojoMonday, and finally the colors from Casual Fridays.
I thought they all complimented each other so well. I made a VIDEO on how I create this card- check it out over on my YOUTUBE channel!
I love ALL the texture and patterns on this card- so this wouldn't be one that I would make 20 or even 5 of, but it is FUN to create something that's a bit over the top once and a while. If I was going to make multiples of this one I would use DSP (designer series paper) instead of the quilting, and I would use a scallop or die cut shape instead of making the scalloped edges my self. There are ways to recreate this card in a more simplistic fashion to allow for mass production!!
Here is what I used for this card:
Stamps: Papillion Potpourri, Teeny-Tiny Wishes
Ink: Melon Mambo
Punches: Little Labels Punch Pack, Elegant Butterfly, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle

GUESS WHAT'S NEW?! I have made some changes!! You will see some new class additions coming SOON- so be on the look out for that AND I have had some requests from a few of my hearing impaired stampers that they would love it if I would offer some caption for the videos that I create- SO beginning this week ALL of my videos will have FULL caption so everyone can enjoy!!
This is great for EVERYONE!! How many time have you wanted to watch a video say while out in public but can't or don't cause you don't want everyone else listening to what your watching? Now that's not a prob! Simply turn my volume OFF and you will still totally understand what is being shown- FANTASTIC RIGHT? Check out today's card NOW!!
